The Caribbean Basin Initiative was a temporary United Stateds program for Central America and Caribbean countries. It aimed to provide these countrys with tariff benefits. They also provided these countries with trade benefits. -

The Soviet Union ended with the decleration no. 142-H of the Soviet Republics of the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union. The deleration acknowledged the independence of the 12 republics of the Soviet Union.
