Emmett Till was born. He was the single child of his parents, who were Louis and Mamie Till. Emmett never got to see his father before. Sadly, his father died during war world II. He was killed for “willful misconduct”. He was serving at Italy during that time. Emmett Till’s family gave him a nick name called “bobo”. He and his family lived in a black neighborhood. Till's Uncle Stay
Emmett Tills uncle, whose name is Moses Wright, visited the family in Chicago. During the end of his stay, he planned on taking Emmett Tills cousin, whose name is also Wheeler Parker, to his town in Mississippi to visit his family. When Emmett Till heard about this, he begged his mother to let him go. She was hesitant at first, because she was planning on taking him to Omaha and promised that he could drive the
car. She finally agreed on letting him go with his uncle.

Ring
On August 19, 1955, also the day before Till left with his cousin and uncle, his mother gave him his father’s ring. On the ring, there were two letters engraved on it. The two letters where L.T. They stranded for his father’s name, Louis Till. The ring will later help with the murder.

A few days after being in Mississippi, Till and some teens went to the store, which is Bryant’s Grocery and Meat Market. They went there after picking cotton in the afternoon. On September 1, 1955, the police had found Till’s mutilated corpse. They couldn’t recognize it but later knew it was him because of the ring his mother gave him. the jackson daily says that the murder of Emmett Till is a brutal senseless crime but says that the NAACP is pushing it by calling the murder a lynching. While Belgium Papers say Racism in USA young black lynched in Mississippi. During the selection of the jury blacks and women are banned so an all-white male jury is chosen. For the first time in Mississippi the judge recess the court so law enforcement, NAACP members, black and white reporters can find witnesses who saw Milam`s Emmet`s murderer and heard Emmett being beaten("Timeline: the murder of Emmett Till"n.p.) -

The trial was about to begin. All over the country, there were a lot of outraged people knowing they killed a teen. There weren’t any black people or women in the jury because they weren’t allowed to serve it. The trial continued for a few days later. ("Emmett Till Biography”. n.p.) -

Then in a shock Moses Emmett`s great uncle stands up while on the witness stand and points at the murders of Emmett Till. The men are acquitted after only 67 minutes of deliberation and later one of the jurors said that would have finished sooner but stop to drink pop("Timeline: the murder of Emmett Till"n.p.). -

Aftermath
The Trial`s verdict went around the word and caused a harsher verdict for the south where it seemed racial injustice was an acceptance of life. While most people have forgotten of Emmett Till his is still remembered in region of the incident. Some histoians, politicans, and veterns of civil rights era say that Emmett Till`s murder was a far greater than many of the faded memories. They say that it and the bus boycott belong to the same progression.
