Baseball Game
My brother's used to play for this baseball team and my dad and I used to come and watch them. This is where I discovered I loved baseball. I would cheer them on. They would lose but in my heart I was still proud of them. -
My great grandma died
When I was little I did not understand or speak Spanish that much and my Great Grandma only spoke and understood Spanish. This is where I got one of my used tactics of using my feelings to start to learn Spanish as I feared another member close to me who only spoke Spanish would die and I would have no way of communicating with them. -
Birthday Surpise
I went bowling for my birthday but it was a surprise. This made me more grateful because this was my first time bowling and my entire family was there. My parents rented out the bowling place and made it super special for me. -
First day of Preschool
I was going to school since I was 5, it was very scary for me as I was antisocial and the only Mexican there, so I felt out of place. This made me grateful because it opened up my sociability and made new friends easily. There were also people who had the same creative mind as me -
My American Girl Doll obession
I used to be obsessed with American Girl dolls. I would go there for my birthday and shop there for hours. I would save money to be able to buy what I want. -
Disney Trip
I went to Disney world for my 6th birthday and I went to the castle to eat. The Disney Princesses came around and met the people who were eating. It was a very memorable moment for me and made me really grateful. -
Christmas Surprise
When I was around 7 years old, I wished for this Barbie dream house that was sold out everywhere, and my parents told me the day of Christmas. Our family celebrates Christmas on Christmas eve, the next day the doorbell rang and it was my dreamhouse. My dad woke up at 4am to purchase it. I was still appreciative of what I got but I will forever remember the effort my parents went to make me even happier. Ever since then my turbulent side has came out more, knowing not everyone is bad. -
My first Beanie Boo
My obsession with monkeys started when I was 7. I remember my mom and I going to the Hip and went into this toy store that had walls of beanie boo's and I saw the monkey and got it. My mom bought it for me as a gift for my good grades. -
Christmas Party
This was the day I found out Santa was not real. My mom 's job has these yearly christmas parties that my family would go to and Santa would give the kids gift cards, but my friend told me that it was really our parents, I was very devastated. -
First trip to Mexico
I was in 8th grade when I went to Mexico for the first time. My family and I visited my dad's uncles farm where I milked a cow. I have the ESFJs type meaning I am friendly, organized, and a helper. -
Death of Nina
Nina was my only dog. I got her when I was in 3rd grade, my brother brought her home for his birthday but she was family to all of us. Nina was my support and motivation, her beautiful chocolate eyes just warmed my heart. Unfortunately she passed away in my brothers arms. The Martinez family loved Nina very much. -
babysitting
I babysat this dog named Coco and she was very sweet, shes my family's friend dog and is 11 years old. Coco loves to cuddle -
Cubs Baseball Game
This whole summer my brother and I went to baseball games at Wrigley field and it was very fun as the games lasted a while. To add on I met Clark and he was very cute. -
Cooking class
I went to this program where I got to learn new dishes and make new friends -
Lashing
I started to find passion in doing lash extensions and practiced on other people. Doing one's lashes makes me a more patient person as it takes a while. I had to take risks and practice by trial and error as some glues did not hold the lash well and some did. -
Homecoming
This was my first time getting asked out to homecoming, it was a very unexpected thing but the sign warmed my heart as it is a saying many hispanic parents would say. -
Chinatown
I went to China Town for the 2nd time in my life. I went to this place named Hing Kee. The food was very good and enjoyable. -
Halloween as Tinker Bell
I dressed up as Tinker Bell when I was 5, she was my favorite character. This was my first time trick or treating at the mall.
