Hitler announced a nonaggression pact with Stalin and Soviet Union. This would add another country to Axis Powers right after Italy & Germany's pact. Pact agreed that Stalin would stay out of Germany's way. In return, Hitler wouldn't attack Soviet & would give them soon-to-be-conquered territory.
