    God's promise to Abraham
God promised Abram that he would have kids, and from God a great nation would come. God promised that they would live in the land that he had given them. God's promise was unconditional.

    Joseph

    Joseph
Joseph was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers but God had a plan for him. God turned Joseph's life around by turning a sad situation into a miracle that saved many lives.

    The Ten Plagues

    The Ten Plagues
The Exodus talks about how the Israelites were enslaved. The Egypt also talks about the ten plagues. It also talks about the fleeing of Egypt and the revelations at Mount Sinai.

    God Parts the Red Sea

    God Parts the Red Sea
When the Israelites reached the Red Sea Moses stretched out his hand and the waters divided the Egyptians followed them but yet again God told Moses to stretch out his hand and the red sea engulfed the army. This is important to me because if you are stuck and ask God for help He will always pull through.

    the Passover

    the Passover
The Israelites ate the first Passover meal. They ate perfect Lamb, they smeared the blood from the lamb on the doors of their house so the angel of the death would pass over. This is important to me because Jesus came to life again.

You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You, Honor your father and your mother, Keep the Sabbath holy, Warship no other gods, You shall not kill, You shall not murder, You shall not covet, You shall not make idols, Remember to keep holy the LORD’s Day. This is important to me because it sets God's standards for me and makes it better to follow his rules.

    Wandering in the Wilderness

    Wandering in the Wilderness
For forty years in the wilderness Israel wandered, but their clothes did not wear out neither did their feet swell The were perfectly fine. Everyday God cared for them. He provided food and water for them He led them with a cloud by day and with fire by night teaching them how to trust Him. This is important to me because It shows that you may lose hope in God but he will always change your mind and pull through so you just need to trust him.

    Settling Canaan

    Settling Canaan
Canaan is the land which the tribes of Israel conquered after an Exodus from Egypt and the Canaanites are the people they God rid of from the land. This is important to me because the promised land is there.

    Gideon

    Gideon
Gideon was a judge who lived in Israel in the time between Joshua and the kings. Gideon was a warrior but didn't want to be a leader. God asked Gideon to trust him and to fight the battle with only three hundred men who God would pick. This is important to me because it shows how God uses us to fulfill his purposes in the world.

    Samson

    Samson
God gave Samson a lot of strength but Samson relied on that strength instead of on God. He was able to kill people with a donkey skull.Only when Samson's strength was gone was he able to repent and then God put his plan into action. God was able to destroy all of the Philistine leadership in one try and free his people. This is important to me because it shows how much patience God has and even though we fail he will still have resilience.
