Three mysterious people recieved three mysterious letters during the middle of the night. -
Calder and Petra Meet
Calder and Petra meet in University School in there 6th grade class run by Miss Hussey. They walked around together a great deal of time. -
Tommy's letter to Calder
Calder recieves and pentomino coded letter from Tommy that says and mysterious kid named Frog went missing and suspected to have gotten kidnapped. -
The Box
Calder remembers that he got a box with his favorite painting called The Geographer. Vermeer painted it. -
The Coincidence
On Halloween night Calder and Petra both dressed up for Halloween just like regular kids. But Petra dresses up on purpose The Lady Writing before she knew it was her. -
The Theft
One day Petra woke up and wenthe hat t down to have breakfast. She read an article that said that the painting A Lady Writing was stolen while on it route to Washington. -
Tea With Mrs. Sharpe
The kids go to have tea with Mrs. Sharpe. They wanted to see if there was any hiding spots for the painting A Lady Writing in her house. -
The Blue Ones
Calder and Petra decide that the M&M color blue tastes mysterious so the decide to eat a blue one every time something mysterious happens. -
The Broken Arm
Ms. Hussey came to school the other day right after the theft with a broken bone. How suspicious. -
Arrested As A Suspect
Ms. Hussey was arrested the night after the theft as a suspected criminal. -
Petra Finds A Letter In Mrs. Sharpe's Bush
Petra was just strolling by home from school when she came across a peice of paper tucked into a thorny hedge on her property. -
Police Protection
Mrs. Sharpe requests police protection after the theft because she felt that was in danger. Ms. Hussey soon follows and requests protection.requests -
Mrs. Sharpe Breaks Her Leg
Mrs. Sharpe was planning to take a letter to the post office one day when she slipped and fell. She cracked a bone in her leg. -
The Fake
Petra and Calder decide to check the basement of the University School but instead they find a fith graders painting and because there was no light they thought it was the Lady but unfortunatly it wasn't the Lady they were looking for. -
Petra's Breakthrough
Petra and Calde decide to scope out Dellia Dell Hall before they head back home, but when Petra notices that the arcitecture of the building matches with Mrs. Sharpe's pentominoe words she decides that the painting might be hidden there. -
The Maniac's Letter
The theif sent a letter out and it wound up on the news papers. It was that if the public and the experts didn't meet the theif's demands he would destroy A Lady Writing by burning it. -
The Call
Petra and Calder decide to call Mrs. Sharpe at the hospital because they think it sounds like it her talking in the letter. -
The Twelves
All the peices start to come together when the kids decide to go back to Delia Dell Hall and check the basement for A Lady Writing. All the clues were all tvelve things and the tvelves led Petra and Calder to the Lady. -
Calder's In Trouble
After the kids found the painting they were trying to get away when the alarms started blaring. They started to get chased by this man. Calder had the painting and he went up the slide in tHe got pushed off. -
The Peices Come Together
Calder and Petra find out who stole the painting and why. They get all the peices together and get the painting back where it
belongs.
