During the 1930s the first interpertaion of turntables came into motion with Paul Hindemith. In the 1970s legendary DJs like Kool Herc reinvented the idea into what modern day music has been influenced by. He was able to sample track records and come up with a brand new sound. -

In the early 80s we were able to allow electronic musical instruments and computers to send information to each other, practically "talking" -
New Trends in Electronic Music
A trend recently in music is the idea to use modern technology, like using the smartphone. In 2005 a college came up with the first laptop orchestra, making music completely on the device. This is just another step into evolution in technology and music. -
