Who made the electric car is unknown but the earliest record of electric motor was in 1828 when Hungarian Inventor Anyos Jedlik invented a smaller version, scale model, of the electric car. Jedik's device contained 3 components: A Stator, Rotar, and Commutator for the motor. -

The Ford T Model, produced by Henry Ford's motor company, was another early automobile. It was designed by Hungarian immigrants named Eugene Farkas and Joseph A. Galamb, The Ford T Model, in that time period, was an affordable car for middle class Americans. This was mainly because of Ford's idea to have his cars made in an assembly line instead of being hand- made. -

A man named Roger Smith, the GM Chairman, showed the General Motors EV1 at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The General Motors EV1 is an electric concept vehicle. -
