My First Day at the Cirque d' Art Theatre
This is the place where I spend ALL my free time. I have been apart of this non-profit organization for 16 years now, and have never taken a break! The Cirque d art is a local dance studio in Portsmouth that teachers children of all ages dance, tumbling, acrobatics, and circus arts! I am now an instructor and have been for 6 years. -
Miss Notre Dame
On this day I competed as Miss Notre Dame in The River Days Pageant. I spent an entire summer representing my school and community by doing service events with the other girls that represented the other 11 schools in the county. This is my favorite memory from high school. Today, I am a member of the pageant committee and help run the pageant. . -
Shawnee State
I finalized my plans to be in the teacher education program at Shawnee State. -
Graduation Day!

Preschool Director of the Cirque d' Art
On this day I was granted control over the preschool program at the Cirque d' art theater. I have my own staff, and curriculum that I developed for these classes. I currently has 50 toddlers and preschoolers enrolled in this program! This is the most successful the program has ever been! The children learn tap, ballet, tumbling, and circus arts in every class. -

I am so excited for this course! I love teaching children about reading, writing and spelling! Something I hope to learn from this course is reading strategies to help struggling readers. My goal is to be able to leave this class with a better understanding of the fundamentals of phonics, and be one step closer to having my own classroom!
