  • Graduated High School

  • Band Trip to Ireland/Italy

    I went to Ohio University for a year and was in Singing Men of Ohio and the Marching 110. The 110 went to Ireland and Italy on band tour. Ireland was better, if you're curious.

  • Graduated from Ashland University

    I transferred to Ashland my sophomore year, and I was a double major in music education and musical theatre for a while.
    I student taught at AHS and AMS, and it was great. I went back last week to see their May Fiesta concert. It's always fun to see "my kids."

  • Choir Tour in Germany

    We went to Germany over spring break my final year of college. We performed in a lot of churches, some of which had really neat architecture. (One our director called, "The Aquarium" or something similar) And we saw Bach's church, which was interesting.
    Wittenberg was probably my favorite.

  • Irene Ryan Nomination

    I was in theatre productions all through high school and college. I've been Daddy Warbucks, General Genghis Khan Schmitz, and many others. But the one I got recognized for was Charlemagne in Pippin.
