Gallipoli
Edmund fought and helped over in Gallipoli from 1917-1919 as the role of a Private and Camel Field Ambulance but was later promoted to a Sergeant. -
Returned to Australia
After 2 years at war Edmund was returned to Australia alive. Throughout his time in Gallipoli he was promoted to a Sergeant and a 5th Horse Field Ambulence. -
Applied for Soldier Settlement
Edmund applied for a selection at Beerburrum Soldier Settlement in June, 1921 and was granted Portion 822 with an area of 55 acres. He also married in June 1921. -
New Son
Their son Clive was born at the newly built Beerburrum Hospital in 23 June 1922. Edmund later moved of the farm land -
Death
Edmund died on 18 October 1984 (age 99) and was Buried in Caloundra
