After his wife died, Edgar Allen Poe became an extreme alcoholic. One night, he disappeared. He was found after being missing for a week, passed out on the street. He was possibly under the influence of alcohol, and died after staying in a hospital for fours days. He died confused, almost like he didn't know where he was or what was happening. His death is almost completely mysterious.
