Poe dies of an unknown reason
Only 4 3/4 years after he wrote "The Raven" Poe died. It is not known why he died but some think it was suicide or cholera or syphilis or rabies and even a rare brain disease! But the bottom line is no one knows. He was buried in Westminster Hall and Burial Grounds in Baltimore, Maryland.
