Father Leaves
His father left him when he was a year old. -

He was then adopted by a friend of his mom Mrs. Allan and Mr. Allan. His foster father does not care for him but his foster mom does everything for him. -

His foster father sends him to boarding school in 1827 and life was hard because he had no money. -

Poe takes his own money from gambling and publishing two pieces of poetry. -
Foster mothers death
