  • Social Media

    Social Media
Social media was used as an outlet for news and educational settings. Just by a couple clicks you can receive the same information from a classroom textbook from an app on your phone. The impact it had on teachers and students would be good because it helped get information to the public faster because it already has their attention. They also had a bad side and were a distraction for the students when used differently and in social settings.
  • Google Classroom

    Google Classroom
Google classroom changed school for me because it worked as a better way for students to keep up to date with new curriculums. Also worked as a way for teachers to stay ahead on stay aware of the things the students are doing regarding school work. This helps as an organizer and also a helper. When this was first introduced to me I can remember it having no confusion as it was designed to be simple.

    Cell phone usage
For me this was when I noticed the hate for cell phones in schools started to be lifted as they became an aid for learning. My freshman year in high school in numerous classes for the first week we played educational games on our phones as a class using it to get to know each other and learn team work early on. The phones for me were primarily used for group work or educational games.
  • Electronic Textbooks

    Electronic Textbooks
When I got to high school I still used hard cover textbooks to learn in class, but a change shifted as we would revert to online audio books the educators would play aloud for the class to help use multi task. It was used as a better way to take notes so we can just listen and write down critical information.
  • Online Learning

    Online Learning
In 2020 when the Covid outbreak started, many schools introduced online class and online learning. This was all very new to me because I never experienced learning being in different places as my classmates and teachers. This did not work well for me because it was so new to me, but it helped me prep for college because in some formats online learning at the college level was already introduced as I saw my dad take online courses before hand.
