This earthquake happened on Decenmber 14, 1872. It hit Washington state and was named the North Cascades Earthquake. The earthquakes magnitude was between 6.8 and 7.4 causing some intense shaking in the states of Oregon, Idaho and Montana, U.S.A. The shaking also went to some provinces like Birtish Columbia and Alberta, Canada. The earthquake made damage as well, like a hotel called Stine's in Lewiston, Idaho had their walls cracked by the damage made by the earthquake. -
