    How did Fernando and Isabel become monarchs?

    Isabel's brother Enrique was King of Castilla. He named Isabel as his hair. Wen Enrique died in 1474, Isabel declared that she was queen. But Enrique's daughters Juana also wanted to be queen. There was a war between their supporters. Isabel won the war in 1479. In the same year her husband Fernando became king of Aragón.
