     Australopithecus afarensus
    Australopithecus afarensus is Lucy and her relatives. They had mostly ape features with a few human features. They also walked on two feet so they were able to carry their children, defend themselves from animals, 1901 is a fake date that I used. They were able to walk on two legs. They had no tools. They only lived in
    in Africa and lived 4-3 million years ago.
  • Homo Habilis

    Homo Habilis
    Homo Habilis had more human like features than Lucy had, even though they still had some ape features, and their brain was twice the size of Lucy's and they were a little bit taller than Lucy and her relatives. Homo Habilis also made some simple tools. Homo Habilis lived 1.5 to 2 million years ago. 1902 is a fake date that I put down. They lived in Asia and Europe. Their tools were digging sticks and sharp stones. They were able to make simple tools.

    Homo Erectus was discovered before Lucy and Homo Habilis were. Homo Erectus were the first hominids to move out of Africa and migrate to Asia and Europe. Most of them even reached five feet tall! Their faces looked more human-like than the earlier hominids did. They also used fire to keep themselves warm in cold temperatures, and to cook animal meat, they also lived in groups which helped their survival. 1903 is a fake date that I put down.

    Homo Sapiens Neanderthalensis
    Homo Sapiens Neanderthalensis was even taller than all the other hominids and had a more advanced brain. They were to make more than sixty types of tools! They were also the first hominids to hunt in groups. They lived in Europe and Asia. Some of their tools were knives, scrapers, and spear points. They made sharp, thin blades. They lived from 230,000 to 30,000 B.C.E

    Homo Sapiens Sapiens
    This is a direct ancestor of the modern human being. They had a more advanced brain and a more complex language. They roamed the Earth 35,000 to 12,000 B.C.E They had high rounded skulls small teeth and slender bones. Some of their tools were needles, hooks, spears, spear thrower, and bow and arrow. Some of their skills were they made cave art, and they had very large brains so they made a variety of tools.
