    The pilgrims saw land in the distance. they were very excited. They saw a good plsce and decided to build a village there, Later they called Plymouth
  • Native American

    the pilgrims met a Native American the firts time and he introduced them to his trbe. The Native Americans taught the pilfrims how to grow corn, beans and pumpkins.
  • North America

    by the 1750s, the British had 13 colonies on the east coast of North America and about two and a half millon colonists lived there. But France and Spain also ownwed big areas of land in North America and wanted to influence the New World.
  • The British army

    From 1754 to 1763, th British army and the colonist fought the French over land in North America. The British won the war and them the 13 colomies deided to join together to fight the British.
  • The colonies declared independence

    the colonies declared indenpence from Great Britain. in the end, they defeated (George Washintong) the British and signed the Treaty of Paris in 1783. they called their new nation the United States of America (USA)
