Massacre at Mystic
The Mystic massacre took place on May 26, 1637, during the Pequot war. When English settlers under Captain John Mason, and Narragansett and Mohegan allies set fire to a fortifiled Pequot villahe near the Mystic River. Showed the peace between white and blake was not possible. -
The Scalp Act
This act legalized the taking of Indian scalps for money. This act was meant to destory the Delaware Indian tribe. -

The battle of Tippeacanoe was fought on November 7, 1811, near present-day Lafayette, Indiana between Unites States force led by Governor Willam Henry Harrison of the Indiana territory and Native Americans. -
Indian Removal Act
The lae autjorized the president to negotiate with sothern Indian tribes for their removal to federal territory weat of the Mississppi River in exchange for their ancestral homelands. -
Nat Turner Rebellion
Led by Nat Turner, rebel slaves killed anyways from 55 to 65 people, the highest number of fatalities caused by any slave upsing in the American south. This was a step towards the slaves becoming free. -
Trail of Tears
Cherokee Indians are forced to move from Georgia to Arkansas by Oresident Andrew Jackson. Thousands of Indians died in the forced move. -
Dred Scott Decision
Dred Scott's moved him to a free state and then back to a slave state. Dred Scott used saying that since he loved in afree state he was a free man. The Supreme court says Dred Scott can't sue, because slaves aren't citizens of the United States. -
Emancipation Proclamation
Presidental act they freed slaves in the rebeling states. This was the first step to ending slavery in the United States. -
13th Amendment
Constitutional amendment that ended slavery in the Unites States. -
14th Amendment
The 14th amendment offcially makes blacks citizens of the Unites States. -
15th Amendment
Gives black men the right to vote. -

Plessy vs. Ferguson, 163 U.S. 537, was a lndmark Unites States Supreme Court decision upholding the constituionaliy of state laws requuiring racial segregation in public facilities under the doctrine of "separate but equal".
