Donna wrote her most famous piece of work, "A Cyborg Manifesto". This is an essay that discusses humans and machines, and how the two work together to accomplish great things (or so we thought). She goes into detail how machines have changed our independence. Human kind can no longer live without machines, and this creates problems. She opens up our minds to how machines have shaped our lives and well being. -
Situated Knowledges
Donna published a piece about feminism titled, "Situated Knowledges: The Science Question in Feminism and the Privilege of Partial Perspective". Donna's contribution to feminism was portrayed heavily in this piece. -
Awarded Highest Honor
Donna was awarded the J.D. Bernal Award for all the work she has accomplished for the field of social studies.This is one of the highest honors in the Society for Social Studies of Science. Her work contributed greatly to how we view feminism and much more. -

She published one of her amazing books titled "When Species Meet". This is about the relationship between humans and dogs. This is a well known relationship, but how known is it really? She dives into how humans communicate with dogs and vice versa. What does the relationship mean? The philosophy of the communication itself is eye opening in her book. -
