    Being born in Denver, Colorado Donna Haraway decided to attend Colorado college. While attending Colorado College she majored in Zoology and also got minors in Philosophy and English. After Donna graduated from Colorado college she decided to further explore theology and philosophy at Teilhard de Chardin in Paris, France.

    Upon Donna's return back to the United States she decided to pursue a Ph D in biology at Yale University. She completed her Ph D from Yale University in 1972. During her graduate studies she wrote a dissertation titled "The Search for Organizing Relations: An Organismic Paradigm." This dissertation explored the concept of paradigm shift and the incommensurability of different scientific frameworks.
