More companies were competing for fewer dollars, suppliers began to offer services and organizations cut their budgets. -
Consolidation
Due to the institutional investment and venture capital the destination management expanded and only the strongest survived. -
Financial crisis
Gross Domestic Product decreased 10%, many DMC struggled to stay afloat and some of them had to close. -
Globalization on the rise
DMC were considered Global Parter (local companies that i can trust). Clients started to prefer locally owned and operated DMC.
