    Tris goes through the choosing test

    Tris goes through the choosing test
    Tris has reached the age she needs to choose which faction she joins, she then goes thorough a trial to see which faction she belongs to, and is indecisive

    Tris decided to be dauntless.

    Tris decided to be dauntless.
    Tris has to choose which faction to choose, and chooses dauntless.

    The initiates have to fight each other.

    Near the beginning, the new dauntless members have to fight each other, in order to not become a factionless.

    Tris goes through accuracy tests

    Tris ,for the first time in her life, fires a gun and throws some knives. Then, she volunteers to stand still while knives are thrown at her,

    Visiting day

    She meets her mother again, and learns that her dad would not visit anyone as he was at work, and to not tell anyone she was divergent.

    Edward gets stabbed.

    Edward gets stabbed.
    Since he was in first place, Edward gets stabbed in the eye by Peter

    The second trial begins

    Tris goes through the second trial, which is her having to face her fears.

    Tris learns what it means to be divergent.

    Tris is in a fear landscape where whe is in a tank filling with water, she then manipulates the simulation to break the glass.

    Tris goes through Fours fear landscape
    While in it, she learns he got his name because he only has 4 fears, and his real name is Tobias.

    Initiation day

    Tris goes through initiation, which includes the dauntless going through their fear in front of the dauntless leaders.

    The dauntless are controlled by erudite

    The dauntless are controlled by erudite
    Each of the dauntless are injected with a syrem that can control their mind, except divergents, and then make them kill abnegation so the erudite can become leaders.

    Tris and Tobias are captured

    The erudite leader explains that she will create a new government, and will test a new serum on Tobias

    Tris destroys the simulation

    Tris is saved from a prison by her mother, who sacrificed herself, and once tris reached the server room, she saw it was guarded by Tobias, who she then snaps out of the simulation and grabs the server, causing the daultless to no longer be in a trance.
