His death was used as an unjust event between the black community and the police. It seemed like every form of social media platform was used in order to further their cause. I remember that it was popular to post a black square in order to show your support. -
2020 Election
Election year happened in November of 2020, and this election seemed particularly messy. Because of COVID19 there was already so much chaos going on, and each side of the political parties were playing off that chaos in order to try and get their candidate ahead. Twitter, now known as X, was a particularly big platform that was used. Former President Trump is particularly famous for his use of Twitter and the tweets that he would make. He was later banned from Twitter. -

The death of the former Queen of England shook the whole world. Because of various social media platforms, there were many articles, stories, and coverages being done regarding this event and her funeral that followed. -
Taylor Swift Eras Tour
Swift had announced her Eras tour she would be doing and this had pretty much broken the internet. Fans all over the world on every social media platform were so excited at the prospect of this tour happening, especially when the concerts were going to be like nothing any other artist had done before. Taylor was going to cover every one of her albums and performing for three hours. TikTok played a huge role in this as fans shared their experiences at the concert and shared the outfits they made. -
Trump Assassination Attempt
At a rally for former President Trump, there was an assassination attempt that took place. Trump and other attendees were injured, and one attendee was killed when a shooter tried to take a shot at Trump. This event is currently breaking the internet, causing a huge divide between the two political parties, and even being shared to other countries around the world. There is so much possible misinformation going around from various platforms that it is hard to know what is and is not real.
