President Trump created this campaign to support his promise of making America great again if he were to be elected president. All forms of social media were used including Instagram and Facebook. -

Black Lives Matter is a campaign in support of black people being victimized by police brutality. The campaign started in 2015 and has really picked up steam in 2020. All forms of social media have been used, especially Instagram and Twitter. The hashtag was formed in hopes that all posts would include it on Instagram. -
Democratic Socialism
Democratic Socialism came to be during Bernie Sanders 2016 presidential campaign. The idea is that certain radical ideas such as universal health care, tuition-free college, and a $15 minimum wage would come to fruition. The idea got popular on social media, especially with the younger generation, on Instagram and Twitter. -
Indivisible
After Trump's election, a 23-page handbook was formed for people to take action against Trump. The movement became very popular and had over 6,000 groups nationwide. Social media, especially Facebook, was used to form these groups and allow members to interact with other members. -
#MeToo Movement
The Women's Me Too Movement emphasized the importance of criminalizing men for predatory behavior toward women. All forms of social media were used and some people consider this the largest protest in American history.
