    This movement was made to help protest sexual harassment and sexual assault. The Me Too movement has been seen all over Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. A hashtag #metoo was created to spread the word-and help those of sexual harassment in the workplace, or really anywhere come together.

    Dress Like A Woman
    After President Trump allegedly asked his staff to "dress like a woman", the internet-and specifically social media blew up with protests against this. Women of all different careers and job types posted pictures of them "dressed like a woman", but in scrubs, or as an astronaut, etc. to protest against Trump.

    Gender equality is something that has always been a problem-and something that will continue to be an issue. It affects both males and females in the work place. The He For She campaign was created on twitter with the hashtag #heforshe to protest against the gender pay gap. This campaign was backed by Emma Watson and Justin Trudeau.
  • Nike and Collin Kaepernick

    Nike and Collin Kaepernick
    Nike signed a deal with Collin Kaepernick to sponsor their brand. This was a huge controversy because Collin Kaepernick is known for his kneeling during the pledge of allegiance. Nike sponsors the NFL, so it was a controversy that one of the players who was in trouble for his actions. This deal blew up on twitter and Nike got a lot of backlash from the public.
