    President Trump asked his staff to "dress like women" and people made a hashtag to try to display that people can dress however without being held to a certain standard. A hashtag that was shown through Instagram and Twitter allowed for people to expose this phrase and show themselves off in their best way.

    In 2019 there were protests and information being spread on social media. Primary forms of social media include Instagram, Twitter, news. Protests include holding signs to spread the information. Hong Kong's rights are getting taken from the Chinese Empire.

Forms of social media used as a tool to create a narrative--telegram, Tumblr, Facebook, propaganda, etc to try and recruit people. Recruited people, funds, and try to spread their information. They wanted to share their story through social media. I put 2020 as the year because there are still tactics out there through social media to try and recruit people.

    George Floyd was arrested and ended up dying. On social media BLM become better known as a social movement. Fight against police brutality. Instagram, Twitter, videos put on YouTube, signs, protests, etc helped to make the information well known. Hashtag was also another tactic used. Trying to target racism and representation specifically for the black community. As well as a call to action to get better within the police department.
