Solid sphere model
The solid sphere model was found by John Dalton. He experimented with many chemicals that showed matter. -
The Plum Pudding Model
Thomson discovered the electron, and designed The Plum Pudding model for the structure of an atom. -
The Nuclear Model
Rutherford bombarded atoms with alpha rays. He did an experiment with gold foil, radium, stream of alpha particles and a fluorescent screen. He did this experiment to see inside an atom. -
The Bohr Model
Bohr came up with the theory electrons do not spiral in the nucleus, also came up with the rules of what happens. -
Quantum Mechanics Model
Schrodinger came up with the idea "Why not go all the way with particles and try to form a model of the atom on basis?" The symbol Schrodinger's wave was "psi" his wave mechanics did not question the makeup of the wave but he gave it a symbol.
