    I learned to crawl at 6 months
    This is Piaget's sensimotor stage
    This is significant becasue it is a babie's first step to becoming mobile.
    I could crawl backwards before I could crawl forwards, which made me mad because I would try to crawl towards my toys and just end up being farther away.

  • First Word

    I said my first word "hungry" when I was 11 months old.
    This is the cognative development of Piaget's sensimotor stage.
    This is significant becasue this is the first time a baby can orally communicate.

  • First Steps

    I took my first steps at 13 months.
    Piaget's sensimotor stage
    This is signigicant becasue walking is faster than crawling and allows a child to become much more mobile. My favorite thing to do when I first learned to walk was chase the cat.

  • First Smile

    I smiled for the first time when I was 3 months old.
    This is Erikson's trust vs mistrust stage becasue I was given my basic needs, I had confidence in others and was aware of my surroundings.
    This is significant becasue smiling is a baby's first form of communication.

  • Fully Potty Trained

    I was fully potty trained when I was a little over 3 years old.
    This is Frued's anal stage because toilet training was the most important thing at that time.
    This is significant becasue being toilet trained is the first step in a child becoming self sufficient.

  • First day of School

    I started kindergarden when I was 5.
    This is Piaget's Concrete Operations stage because in school I learned how to solve problems and establish things such as my right and my left. It is also Kohlberg's Preconventional stage becasue in a school enviornment there are certin rules with a system of punishment and rewards.

  • Learned how to Ride a Bike

    I learned how to ride a bike when I was 6 years old.
    This is Erikson's industry vs inferiority stage becasue I mastered a new skill.
    This is significant becasue of the satisfaction of mastering a difficult skill.

  • First Job

    I had my first job as a soccer referee when I was 15.
    This is Erikson's identity vs role confusion stage becasue I established a career identity.
    This is significant becasue it was my first time being imployed and earning a steady source of income.

  • First Serious Relationship

    I will most likely be in a serious relationship around the age of 21.
    This is Erikson's Intimacy vs. Isolation stage because as a young adult I will seek companionship and love from another person.
