    Babbling stage
In this picture I am shown babbling. Usually when I was not held by my mom I would scream, cry, or as in this scenario say random noises.
  • Able to understand reading

    Able to understand reading
In this picture I am in the preoperational stage of cognitive development. I am listening to my mom read my favorite book "Great day for Up!". This is preoperational cause I was not aware of abstract thinking and even though I'm looking away from the book I know it is still there showing object permanence.
  • Talking

    Talking
Before this picture I was talking mainly in one and two word phrases and around then I was able to start talking. However until I was three instead of saying water I would say "dinkaloo" when I wanted water. In this picture i am shown talking and roaring because I have a dinosaur costume on. This shows that I have learned to talk and am past the 1 and 2 word stages.

This is where I had to go to the dentist and get my front three teeth removed. I was aware that this had occurred and I no longer had teeth there. This means that I am in the concrete operations stage of Piaget's cognitive development stages.
  • Physical Development

    Physical Development
One day my parents realized that I had terrible vision and needed glasses. They were able to tell I needed glasses by me not being able to read the sign at Panera or see leaves on the trees. Something I remember to this day is walking away with glasses finally being able to see the leaves on the trees.
  • Cognitive development

During this summer I went on a sailboat ad lived o the water for a week. This made me use all prior knowledge I knew of knot tying, cooking, and fishing to help make that trip a lot easier. Since I could use prior knowledge effectively I was in Formal Operations.
  • Social Development

This is about the conflict between role identity and role confusion. Until midway through high school I didn't know what I wanted to go to college for until I finally decided on Computer Science.
