In 440bce Democritus said everything in the world was made up of tiny particles. Those particles are called atomos. No one believes him. It was forgotten until 1808 when John Dalton sought to challenge Arestolian theory. He explained what is atoms.ernest retherfold is known as the father of nuclear age. He went more inside discovering atoms as he did alot of experiments. In 1913 Thompson's student explored more into atoms. This was the end of atomic theory after they found out how atoms work
