Fall of Paris/France
After German solders invaded Poland witch is considered when world war 2 stared France declared war on the Germans. Th Germans invaded Paris and took down the capital rendering France leaderless. This is when France dropped out of the war. -
D-Day
The invasion of Normandy was the largest invasion in human history nearly 155,000 troop along 50 miles of coast line invaded the highly fortified bunkers of German soldiers. Thousands lost their lives but is was because of this invasion that started the fall of Germany. -
Dropping if the Atomic Bomb
On August 6th the first atomic bomb dropped in a human conflict happened in the city of Hiroshima when a U.S B-29 bomber dropped an atomic bomb killing nearly 90,000 people and 3 days later the U.S dropped another atomic bomb on Nagasaki killing nearly 40,000 people. These is the major turning point when the Japanese dropped out of the war.
