Demi's parents divorced in 1994 (the date is not exact) , and her dad to move away from Demi and her sister Dallas. This led to Demi and her sister to having very little communication with him. -

Demi had her first acting job when she was on Barney and Friends in 2002 (Although the date she was on it is not certain). There she met her best friend, Selena Gomez. -

Demi starred in the Disney movie Princess Protection Program (PPP) as Rosie, a princess from a foreign country who is taken into custody by the PPP. She must live in Louisiana with Carter (Selena Gomez) and learn how to act like a normal American teenager. -
Checked into rehab
Demi checked into rehab in 2010, when she was self harming herself and had an eating disorder. She has had this problem since she was around 11 years old. -
Checked out of rehab
Demi checked out of rehab in late January. Ever since she's been out, she has been giving advice to people all over the world to encourage others not to self harm theirselves. Later 2011 she got tattoos on her wrists that say 'Stay Strong". -
Unbroken
A few months after Demi checked out of rehab, she released her 3rd album "Unbroken". Many of the songs are about what Demi has experienced and how she feels. One of the songs on the album is about her dad and how she has nothing to do with him. Unbroken landed in the Billboards top 5 for many months. -
X Factor
Demi became a judge on the second season of X Factor USA. Demi and Britney Spears are the guest judges for this season.
