Many animals do not survive in their habitats and to other animals, many animals lost their habitats, they are obligated to found new areas for life, and some animals do not have enough resources to survive they die of hunger even if they scape of the deforestation. -

If many of the deforestations are cities the people can not have enough air to breathe so that would be a risk for a population.
