Day 1 of Decomposition of Chicken Little
Chicken started to show signs of skin discoloration. The skin showed a beige color at the bottom with reddish discoloration near the right side of it. Maggots were infested in all the orifices of the chicken, with maggots of 1.5mm in length and flies at 1 cm long. The chicken right wing bine started to show just a little bit. The orifices infested with maggots were expanded due to the maggots eating away at the flesh. The Weather was: 77*F, Light Breeze, Partly Cloudy but sunny. 66% Humid -
Day 4 of Decomposition of Chicken Little
Chicken Little is now completely flat, with little skin on it. The bones are becoming more visible as I am able to see the wing bones clearer and the leg bones more prominent as well. The Lower vertebrae ha become very apparent aswell. The ground around out has taken a brown sort of mush to it in the shape of the box. There are no signs of maggots around him and barley and flies. The smell has become more pungent and rotten. Humidity: 44%

Day 7 of Decomposition of Chicken Little
Chicken little showed the process of having more rotten and brown looking skin, with little to no meat left, only skin. The tailbone is beginning to become more prominent. Weather: Sunny and Rainy

Day 8 of Decomposition of Chicken Little
Chicken Little showed brown rotten skin, with more bones exposed. We noticed that the tailbone became more prominent with the right leg bone being more prominent. All signs of bugs have ceased to exist with the brown continuing to show a brown and grimy texture. Weather: Cloudy

Day 12
The skin is starting to become dry brown goop, similar to the texture of a cacoon. The bones have become dry and brittle, with the lumbar of the spine being exposed. The right femur of the chicken is still visibly present and the wing bones have become detached from some of the wings. The chicken still shows to be completely flat. Weather: Sunny

Day 13
The carcass was completely dry and had no fluids in it at all. The bones were brittle and almost could snap like twigs. When we were picking it up to throw away, however, we made the discovery that the underside of the chicken was moist. The bones that we could see right away were the lumbar of the spine, the femur, and some wing bones including the wings/arms. Weather: Sunny
