Dean suffered from role confusion, having no idea what he was interested in and no direction for a career path. -
Dean Decides to Start a Family
Dean (35) has decided that after becoming the district superintendent, he wanted to marry and start a family with his high school sweetheart Sarah. Isolation vs. intimacy, Erickson's 6th stage is a juggle between forming strong, loving relationships with others, or shying away from others never fully bonding. After achieving his occupational goal, Dean decided to make the big leap and become a husband and parent. Seeking out the fulfillment of forming a family with his loving wife. -
Everyone Knows Dean
Dean (52) has lived and raised a family in his community for decades. In the past few years, he funded numerous school events, rebuilt the playground, and has more big plans for the future. Erickson's 7th stage, generativity vs. stagnation, this stage is a battle between making your mark or being uninvolved. Dean displays a passion for giving back to the community that brought him up. Due to the amount of time and opportunities he's given to the next generations and others, everyone knows Dean.
