Aleutian Earthquake (Alaska)
This was NOT an April Fools' Day joke. It was a real M 8.1 earthquake that killed 160 people. The destroyed posts at Scotch Cap couldn't send any warnings, so it caught people off-guard. (I bet the date helped too.) -

This earthquake was M 9.1. The resulting tsunami killed 20,000 and flooded 3 nuclear reactors. It also makes me worried that Tenshi Hinanawi and Utsuho Reiuji aren't gonna appear in Touhou Project anymore, but that last part was most likely meaningless to most of you.
