Narvaez is weak and cannot go on the journey to the gulf. DeVaca is assigned leader instead. -

DeVaca and his men are later washed ashore onto Galveston Island by a strom where they meet the Native Americans a couple of months later. -

The surgery
DeVaca is asked by the Natives to remove an arrow from a Native American's body. He fails to do so and is killed by the Natives. -

De vacas men
The rest of the men go further to find resources, but later die. -

No more new world
Without a report in 2 years they later loose hope and dont send and dont send anyone else to the new world.
