In 1942 ( unknown date or month) Davids family suffered through an internment in B.C. during world war 2! He stayed at the internment until the war was over! -

After the war was over, most like all the other Japanease-Canadian family's would do, they were forced to move east of the rockies! -

In June 1942 (unknown day) David's family's dry-cleaning buissness had been sold by the government then interened David, his mother and his 2 sisters, Aiko and Marcia in a camp at the Slocan in the British Columbia Interior! During that time, a big moment happened in the Suzuki family's life! A new baby was born! David's little sister Jenny was born! -
