  • Hard Drive created & locked in secure location

    Data was retrieved from BRFSS. It was then stored in CSV format on a secure hard drive The BRFSS is the CDC's data that lists out Behavioral Risk Factors, Chronic Health Conditions, and the use of Preventive Services. They collect their data via interviews. https://www.cdc.gov/brfss/index.html After its creation it was taken to a secure location.
  • Initial Analysis conducted

    After initial analysis was done it was determined that the root cause of the majority of health issues in the state were from lack of medical care.
  • New Expansion, SQL creation

    New expansion allowed for the creation of SQL database and a change in the physical location that was conducted with a flash drive
  • Data loss discovered

    New analyst discovered that in the transfer of the data multiple rows of data were deleted due to the CSV file have characters incompatible with the new SQL database.
  • Data analyst, focus change, data reviewed

    A new data analyst is hired, the focus is broadened to focus on the top three health issues in the state of Alabama and all data is reviewed
