Daniel C. Dennett III was born on March 28, 1942 in Boston Massachusetts, U.S. Daniel Dennett is a Naturalist philosopher who specializes in the mind. He was a major figure in the atheist movement. Dennett graduated from Harvard University with a B. A. in philosophy. Daniel Dennett also wrote his doctorate thesis in philosophy in 1965. -

Daniel C. Dennett is a definitely a fire starter and he is not afraid to display his views about the foolishness of religion. There is no doubt that Daniel C. Dennett is one of the most influential men of his time. As a philosopher he has reached the the highest point in his career. He is respected by many philosophers and scientist, one of his favorites being Charles Darwin. A great deal of Daniel's work is inspired by Darwin. Daniel's main goal was to provide a materialist account of the evolutionary origins of the human mind and consciousnesses.
