Anna Pavlova
Anna Matveyevna Pavlovna Pavlova was a Russian prima ballerina and choreographer. She was born on Feburary 12, 1881, in St Petersburg, Russia. In the year 1905, she performed in her breakthrough performance, The Dying Swan. This became her signature role. She had then joined the Ballet Russe in 1909 and formed her own company. Anna Pavlova then died in 1931. -
