Comunist Takes over China
A Communist Party took over China in October 1, 1949. In that day Mao Zedong delivered his speech from the Gate of Eternal Peace, the entrance to Forbidden City, a symbol of ancient power purposely chosen to declare a new China. Which ended the rule of dynasty and start "New China" which is now take over by Communist Party. -

The Cultural Revolution Ends
The Cultural Revolution wasn't officially ended in 1969. But it still ended because of the mass of chaos that the Cultural Revolution caused. But still Mao maintain as a chairman still, and Liu Shaoqi was declared as a chairman but he failed in the voting. Dued to this Liu Shaoqi was beaten up in the prison, he wasn't that knownable but he was still one of the memorable elite party member -
The New Chairman
The new chairman of China's Communist Party, Hua Guofeng, has ordered the arrest of four leading radicals in Beijing.It is a sign that China is changing political direction following the death last month of Chairman Mao Zedong. The so-called Gang of Four is led by Chairman Mao's widow Jian Qing, and includes Wang Hongwen, Yao Wenyuan, and Zhang Chunqiao. -
Jiang Qing dies
Jiang Qing and her proteges maintained control of many of China's power institutions, including a heavy hand in the media and propaganda. However, Jiang Qing's political success was limited. When Mao died in 1976, Jiang lost the support and justification for her political activities. She was arrested in October 1976 by Hua Guofeng and his allies, and was subsequently accused of being counter-revolutionary. And so she died in 1991 and she committed suicide after a medical treatment -
The Cultural Revolution Starts
The Cultural Revolution had a massive impact on China from 1965 to 1968. The Cultural Revolution is the name given to Mao’s attempt to reassert his beliefs in China. Mao feared others in the party might be taking on a leading role that weakened his power within the party and the country so that's the reason of why do Mao started the Culutral Revolution.
