The States receive a letter saying that the missiles in Cuba will be removed as long as there is no invasion of Cuba. -
10/27/1962
U-2 Plane was spying when it was shot down over Cuba. The States receive another letter from Kruschev agreeing to not invade Cuba. -
10/28/1962
The crisis is over. The missiles are removed from Cuba and Kennedy leaves quarantine in Cuba for a month afterwards.
