This organization was founded in Washington DC in 1972. This organization was made because they wanted to research and address the needs of cuban Americans as they transitioned into American society. They wanted to help people no matter of their background. -
Formative years
This organization expanded its mission to provide direct human services to everyone in need. -
Integration and Transition Period
The Cuban American National Council Organization group open offices in Orlando, New Jersey, and Washington DC. They also received a multiyear, multimillion dollar grant from ETA for training and employment of youth. -
Transition and Succession Phase
This organization successfully transition a new CEO. They also
opened CNC's first Charter school grades K-5. -
Quantifiable Results/ Achievements
This organization provided employment and training services to 45,000+. They also trained over 500 community leaders in leadership skills.
