What is a telephone?
Alternatively referred to as a phone, a telephone is a device that converts analog audio into electrical signals that can be transferred to other telephone users. The telephone enables people to communicate with others all over the world and is widely credited as being invented by Alexander Graham Bell in 1876. -
Liquid Telphone
Alexander Graham Bell spoke the words "Mr. Watson, come here. I want you," This is the moment in which the first words were spoken through a telephone. -
Dial Telephone
This Telephone was patented first in 1892, but the commonly known form with holes in the finger wheel was not introduced until 1904. This evolution of the Telephone permitted people to dial the number they wanted to call. -
