    Why: Barons was very worried about King John abusing his power and making any random law he wanted

    What: It limited the Kings power an challenged the idea of divine rights
    Where: England
    Why: It not only limits the presidents power now but also if a law wants to be passed he does ot have complete power of deciding if it can pass; the three branches contribute to the deciding

    What: It prohibits a standing army in peacetime except with the acceptance of parliament

    Why: It guarantees a right to a fair trial and freedom from excessive bail, along with unusual punishment
