    I was born 6 pounds, 6 ounces on February 6th, 2001, a couple of weeks before I was due.
  • Moved to Otto-Eldred

    In 2008, I moved from Olean to Eldred and joined the Otto-Eldred family!
  • First black president

    Barack Obama won the presidency in 2008.
  • Started band and choir

    In 5th grade, I started my participation in music: one of the most important aspects of my life now.
  • Osama bin Laden's death

    In 2011, United States forces killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of the terrorist group Al-Qaeda.
  • Started "high school"

    In 7th grade, I moved up to the high school building and adjusted to moving classrooms for every class and using a locker.
  • Boston Marathon bombings

    In April 2013, three people were killed and many others were injured when two bombs detonated at the annual Boston Marathon.
  • Tonsils removed

    In 8th grade, I had my first major surgery when I had my tonsils removed. (The doctors would not let me see them...)
  • ISIS emerges

    In 2014, after the U.S left Iraq, a new terrorist group by the name of ISIS emerged (Lindsay, "The 10 Most Significant World Events in 2014").
  • Marched in Pearl Harbor Parade

    In 10th grade, I travelled to Hawaii with the PA Honors Marching Band and marched in the 75th Anniversary Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade.
  • Brexit

    In 2016, Britain's citizens voted to leave the European Union (Lindsay, "The 10 Most Significant World Events in 2016").
  • First job

    In July 2017, I was hired at my first job (The Beef 'N Barrel) and still work there now.
  • Became a licensed driver

    In August 2017, I passed my driver's test on my first try and received my license!
  • U.S. pulls out of Paris Climate Agreement

    In 2017, the Trump administration decided that the United States would no longer take part in the Paris Climate Agreement, which details ways for countries to combat climate change (History.com Editors).
  • Women's March on Washington

    In 2017, this women's march, which advocated for women's rights policies, became one of the biggest one-day demonstrations in history (History.com Editors).
  • Accepted into Gettysburg College

    In March of 2019, I was accepted into Gettysburg College with very good financial aid. I also fell in love with the campus and the town when I visited!
  • High school graduation

    I am all set to graduate and will receive my diploma on May 31st, 2019!
  • Missy Elliot inducted into Songwriter's Hall of Fame

    In 2019, Missy Elliot became the first female rapper to be inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame (“Historical Events in 2019”).
  • U.S. withdraws from the Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces Treaty

    President Donald Trump confirms this withdrawal and says it is due to Russia's violation of the treaty (“Historical Events in 2019").
