Discovery of Van Arsdale
The country was discovered by an American man named Van Arsdale, and the country was named after him. In the early years ownership of the territory was disputed by both the United States and the Unitied Kingodm. When the news hit to these two countries about Van Arsdale people started moving there. The culture of the people were mostly English because they were from United States and the United Kingom. -

War of Independence
When the country was created the Unitied States and the United Kingodm fought over who could own the country, but Van Arsdale wanted their independence. After about five months Van Arsdale won the battle and got their independence. -
Adoption of new government
Soon after Van Arsdale won the War of Independence they needed a government. Sinse Van Arsdale was the one who discovered the country he decided that the government would be an absolute monarchy. Most of the people who lived in Van Arsdale were not happy with that because they didn't want to have one person that made the decisions. -
Hurricane Jane
Hurricane Jane was a tragic event that took place in 1950. Hurricane Jane was a big hurricane sending floods through cities and neighborhoods. Thousands of people died, lost their homes, and couldn't find their families. The monarch of the country kindly helped the homeless find homes and have food to eat. -
Change in power
When King Arsdale passed away leadership of the country transitioned to his oldest daughter. When the queen or king passes away the oldest child would take place as the monarch. Most people were afraid that there would be a new monarch becuase they have only had one before.
